Warranty Program

Apart from Products that have been modified, neglected, or for commercial purposes such as rental, courier, police, security, etc., misused or abused, involved in accidents or anything other than normal use

hikingears Mountain Gear ships orders worldwide via FedEx or the United States Postal Service (USPS). Your shipping fee will calculate automatically during the checkout process, so you’ll be able to see the shipping charges before clicking “submit.”

The Dyneema®-based fabrics we use to build our packs are 100% waterproof prior to stitching. After being sewn together, we apply waterproof seam tape to ensure optimal weatherproofing, but this does not guarantee a fully waterproof pack. Redundancy is the key to ensuring pack contents remain dry regardless of weather conditions. For that reason, we recommend pairing your pack with our Stuff Sacks and Pods to organize internal contents and create an additional layer of protection.

Returns & Exchanges

If you know anything about us by now, you know we like things to be simple, uncomplicated, and efficient. Our return policy is no different.

Something unexpected came up, and you can’t do your thru hike, or your job relocates you to a sprawling urban area – we get it. Things happen, and we don’t want you to be saddled with gear you can’t use.

New, unused, still in the package products can be returned or exchanged up to 30 days from the purchase date. And after 30 days we’ll issue store credit. (If you’ve purchased your product from one of our authorized dealers, you’ll have to reach out to that dealer for a return or exchange.)

If you’ve tried out the gear you purchased and it’s just not working out for you, or the fit is off, etc., let’s talk. We may be a “less-big” company, but we wouldn’t want to be made to get out and adventure with equipment that was unsatisfying to use either. On a case by case basis, we’ll do what we can to get you squared away and off on the right foot.
